HRAGD May 14, 2008 Workshop Panel Presentation
Executive Coaching for Peak Business Performance
Current events in business such as mergers, downsizing, advanced technology, globalization and organizational dynamics, combined with changes in the workforce demographics and individual goals vs corporate objectives have contributed to increased challenges for organizational leaders.
But there is one area where the wise individuals and leading organizations agree: people are the most valuable “force” within any organization. Effective leadership combined with individual commitment of motivated employees and technological innovation determine success or failure, peak performance or average performance.
An increasing number of organizations are turning to executive coaching to meet the multitude of challenges that executives and managers face today. HR leaders are often looked to as experts in identifying executive coaching professionals. Is your organization performing at its peak?
In this interactive workshop, you will learn from our panel of executive coaching experts;
· When to engage executive coaching services as a business strategy or as a personal career enhancement tool
· How to effectively utilize coaching services
· What are some of the methodologies and assessments used
· Why more leading organizations are implementing coaching for their management teams
· How effective coaching impacts the bottom line (ROI)

Being a Strategic Player Takes Courage and Competence
Never before has the call for strategic HR been louder. From major corporations and the military to small businesses and not-for-profits, leaders of all types of organizations are wrestling with how to find the right people and keep them. What these leaders have come to learn is that they need a competent and courageous HR professional to tackle this vexing problem.

According to Mr. Taylor, “We as (HR professionals) have taken the HR function from a back room function to a strategic capability of greater importance.” He asks all HR professionals to “Examine your own courage and then ask yourself, “Am I brave enough to do the courageous thing.”
In attending this presentation participants will be able to:
· Enhance your skills to be viewed as a strategic player in your organization.
· Explore and develop your internal core competencies.
