American Society for Training & Development (ASTD) is the world's largest professional training association. Operating on a nonprofit basis, ASTD represents more than 70,000 members in 150 chapters in more than 100 countries. The Greater Detroit Chapter of ASTD, established in 1942, has been recognized consistently as an outstanding organization and has received a number of regional and national awards for Chapter excellence.
